Skylark Poetry Walk
Join us this coming Friday...
This Friday, 25th April, Join poet Philip Rush for a very special guided Skylark Poetry Walk at Juniper Hill, a breath-taking spot in the Slad Valley near Stroud, a landscape rich in wildlife and literary history. This hilltop field, recently saved for conservation, is a haven for skylarks, wildflowers, and sweeping views across the Cotswolds. The walk will also take in the magnificent beech trees and bluebells of Frith Wood, also a nature reserve.

We’d love you to join us - whether you’re a seasoned poetry walker, nature lover or simply curious, come and experience Juniper Hill in a whole new way.
Park at Bull’s Cross for a 10am start. B4070 at the junction with Yokehouse Lane. what3words ///diplomats.clinked.ridge
The walk is about three miles long of easy fairly level walking. Please allow 2 hours. Cost £12.
While you’re here, you may have noticed we have been a little quieter than usual lately. We’re regrouping after a number of our grant applications were turned down, but we're committed to what we do, and this setback won't keep us down for long. It’s a particularly challenging time in the arts right now so thanks to everyone who's been in our corner, it really does mean a lot. Everything actually. We’re dusting ourselves off and gearing up for the next opportunity so if you’d like to show your support, you can make a donation through our website or simply just come to our courses and workshops, buy our books, join our membership scheme. Our mentoring scheme GROW, is now open again if you’d like some bespoke support. We would also welcome volunteers to support events and marketing, so if that’s something you’d be interested in (or have a young person in your life who’s looking to get experience), then hit reply to this email.
Bye for now x

This looks amazing — song of my childhood 🥰
