We’re thrilled to share the next wave of Dialect courses and workshops - a new season of writing, reading, and creative kinship to carry us into 2026.
Highlights include:
Beginning to Write Fiction (online) with Melanie Golding (Jan 5 – Mar 2): a welcoming space for new storytellers.
Level Up! Mentoring for Poets with JLM Morton (Jan 9 – Apr 17): small-group guidance to elevate your poetic practice (one spot left; online).
Reading for Writers (Jan 16 – Jun 19): a monthly in-person group exploring fiction, memoir, essays and poetry as makers.
Developing Your Fiction with Melanie Golding (Jan 16 – Mar 13): five in-person sessions to refine your narrative voice.
Elements with Philip Rush (Jan 21 – Mar 4): an online exploration of earth, air, fire, and water in prose and poetry.
Writing Our Lives II with Kate Potts (Jan 23 – Mar 20): develop your life writing in five fortnightly sessions in person.
Even Now: Writing Toward Hope (Jan 23 – Feb 6): a three-part workshop series on poetic language, uncertainty, and possibility.
Writing the Future (Feb 28 – Mar 14): online workshops with Alice Willitts, Ilse Pedler, and Hilary Watson, imagining new horizons.
Each course is designed to nurture your creativity while connecting you with others who share our love of language. Some courses are online, others in-person in Gloucestershire. All crafted with care by experienced writers and facilitators.
Concession and pay what you can options are available. Courses are also payable in instalments.

If you’re keen to enjoy a workshop before the turn of the year, there are still some spaces on our Winter Solstice Writing Workshop, online Monday 15th December (please note the new date); and our Meadow & Mountain Membership is open all year round.
