March is shaping up to be a busy month so we just thought we’d beam in with a snappy update on our happenings, including a performance workshop, a book launch, courses, retreats and more!
Saturday 7th March. The Clearing - writing for calm and connection, a poetry walk with Stroud Book Festival on Rodborough Common, near Stroud, 10am. Free but booking essential.
Wednesday 11th March. Trick or Treat: Telling Your Story - a friendly and informal workshop examining the joys (and potential pitfalls) of writing from life, hosted by author Mark Blackburn. Online, 7pm
Saturday 14th March. Words in the Woods - an afternoon retreat of focused, structured writing time, in the beautiful surroundings of Sladebank Woods on the outskirts of Stroud, Gloucestershire. Followed by an open mic. 12pm - 5pm.
Tuesday 17th March. Tuning In … To Spring - a three part online workshop timed to coincide with the spring equinox, exploring the ways spring moves through our inner and outer worlds. 6pm - 8pm. Join for all or one workshop.
Wednesday 18th March. The Clearing - writing for calm and connection, a fun session playing with word art at Star Anise Cafe in Stroud. 6pm - 7.30pm. Free but booking essential.
Wednesday 18th March. From Page to Performance - a mini masterclass in performing your work with confidence, with stellar voice actor and storyteller Charlie Sanderson. 7pm. Pwyc.
Thursday 19th March We’ll Meet You There - launching the latest brilliant pamphlet from Dialect Press with Ilse Pedler, Hilary Watson & Alice Willitts
Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd March. Perpetual Astonishment - a stylish three‑night, four‑day retreat for writers who want to work closely with landscape, folklore, and seasonal change.
